Hearing care from independent experts. Supporting brain health for confident living.
Core Services
Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment
From Medicare-funded diagnostic assessments, WorkSafe, DVA and aviation medicals to ENT investigations and comprehensive hearing and hearing-related brain health evaluations, all testing is conducted in accordance with current clinical best-practice protocols. We use gold-standard diagnostic equipment, extended diagnostics and evidence-based procedures to ensure accuracy and clarity. Your results are explained thoroughly and in plain language, with detailed prompt reports for your GP, specialist or referrer to support coordinated, high-quality care. We don’t guess. We measure.
Soundwell Program
Soundwell is our proprietary clinical program designed to explore the vital connection between hearing and cognitive fitness. Rather than assessing hearing in isolation, Soundwell evaluates how well your auditory system and brain are working together - including listening effort, processing efficiency and cognitive load. By identifying subtle changes early and supporting both systems proactively, the program is designed to offer personalised information, strengthen long-term confidence, communication, and overall wellbeing. We don’t guess. We measure.
Tinnitus Assessment & Management
Current best practice recommends a multi-modal approach to tinnitus treatment. Tinnitus is not simply an ear issue — it reflects the interaction between hearing, brain processing, attention, stress and sleep. Effective management therefore combines strategies such as optimising hearing, sound enrichment, cognitive and behavioural support, and nervous system regulation. By addressing the auditory system and the brain together, we reduce distress, support habituation, and help clients regain confidence and control. We don’t guess. We measure.
Complexity Demands Expert Advice
Expert guidance and education are central to everything we do. Hearing health can be complex, and we believe our role is not only to diagnose and treat, but to help you truly understand your hearing and cognitive wellbeing. Through clear explanations, evidence-based advice, and personalised recommendations, we empower you to make informed decisions about your care. Our goal is that you leave each appointment feeling confident, educated, and equipped with practical strategies to support your hearing, communication, and long-term brain health.
Lifelong Care & Support
With us, audiology is never a one-off appointment or a short flurry of consults - it is a lifelong partnership. Hearing and cognitive health evolve over time, and we believe the best outcomes come from ongoing monitoring, tailored adjustments, and proactive support. By working with the same clinician at every stage, you benefit from true continuity of care: someone who understands your history, your goals, and the subtle changes in your hearing and lifestyle. This consistency allows us to measure progress accurately, refine solutions thoughtfully, and ensure you feel supported, confident, and independent for years to come.
Hearing Technology
Independent of large chain retailers, our recommendations around hearing aids are thoughtful, outcome-focussed and never rushed. We take the time to understand your listening needs, lifestyle and associated cognitive demands before advising on technology, ensuring the solution genuinely supports clearer communication and reduced listening effort. You will trial before deciding. Because our reputation is built on trust - not sales targets - you can feel confident that every recommendation is objective and centred entirely on your long-term hearing and brain health. We don’t guess. We measure.

We often meet people who are either confused or a little cautious to proceed with a recommended course of action from another provider. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. With a very large majority of the industry’s service providers being owned by or commercially aligned with product manufacturers, it can feel hard to find objective professional advice. This is where we can help. We are experienced independent professionals who choose an approach that is informative, educational and objective right up front - and we offer the first consultation free of charge. Come and meet us and ask away!

An Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist, GP or a specialist exercise physiotherapist are normally the right people to properly diagnose a balance or vestibular problem. Often a hearing assessment is required because our hearing and balance systems share the same inner ear organ. We can discuss your situation and, if need be, refer to one of our ENT colleagues for further assistance.

Ear wax is a natural ear canal moisturiser and defender against foreign bodies, dust and dirt, plus it has antibacterial properties.
Ear wax normally softens in the shower and moves its own way out of the canal, but can build up and become a problem. For hearing aid users, too much wax can prevent the amplified sound reaching the eardrum and can cause the hearing aid to whistle (called feedback) or sound distorted.
We work with nurses to remove wax by water syringing method when safe to do so, or preferably by micro-suction especially if you have middle ear problems or previous surgery.
A prior separate appointment is often needed so let us know if it’s been a while since someone checked you for ear wax, or let us know and we can often very quickly fit you in to check.

The use of different means of talking to your doctor or specialist is becoming commonplace. We can deliver many services over the phone, video calls via smartphone, tablets/ipads, home computer, laptop - almost anything connected to the internet! It means that if you can’t meet us in clinic, we can still help.
Many of the leading hearing aid manufacturers now offer RemoteCare via an app, which allows us to troubleshoot, adjust and fine-tune hearing aids while you’re at home, plus a whole lot more.
It’s nice to see you in person, but we know that this is not always possible. If you or someone in your residence knows a little about the internet, we can get a connection going to allow us to be there for you when you need help or have questions.

We regularly offer current technology and industry insights as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to hearing care and cognitive wellbeing.
We speak to GP’s and ENT colleagues in a formal monthly meeting format, however, these insights are a part of our everyday work and passion as we discuss and design better living outcomes with our clients.
We love sharing what we know and do.

“I avoided having my hearing checked for years - didn’t really want to be told what I already knew. But Rachel was patient and thorough and I never once felt rushed or sold to.”
